Mercer has appointed Alice Williams and Dr Susan Gosling to Mercer Investments (Australia) Limited and Jim Minto to Mercer Superannuation (Australia) Limited as non-executive directors.
Minto was currently the chair of Swiss Re Life and Health Australia, and held positions on other boards, which included Dai-ichi Life Asia Pacific and the National Disability Insurance Agency.
He recently stepped down from the board of EQT Trustees and was previously a director for the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) where he served as chair from 2013 to 2015.
Williams had over 20 years’ experience as a non-executive director across a range of sectors, including financial services, infrastructure, and energy.
She was currently the chair of the investment committee for Defence Health and chair of the audit committee for Djerriwarrh Investments.
Gosling had 35 years’ experience in investment management and had previously retired from her role of head of investments at MLC Asset Management in late 2019.
She was a member of MLC’s private equity investment committee and deputy chair of non-profit Taldumande Youth Services.
