iShares adds to distribution and capital markets teams

BlackRock Australia's iShares business has made two senior appointments to its institutional distribution and capital markets teams.

Campbell MacPherson has joined the institutional distribution team as vice president and business development manager, responsible for developing and supporting iShares’ institutional clients.

He has over 20 years of industry experience, most recently as a consultant for Commonwealth Bank of Australia during a major financial markets restructuring project.

Gonzalo Biassini has joined the product and capital markets team as vice president, supporting its activities in the primary and secondary exchange-traded funds (ETF) markets and focusing on product development.

He most recently worked at Vanguard Investments Australia as a senior business analyst covering ETFs.
