AllianceBernstein adds to Australian Value team
AllianceBernstein has boosted its Australian Value Equities team with the appointment of Anthony Moran as a research analyst covering construction, building materials and infrastructure.
Moran's previous role was at Macquarie Group, where he was a senior investment analyst specialising in infrastructure equities. Previous to that, he worked as a strategy analyst with Port Jackson Partners, and as an institutional research sales executive at Deutsche Bank.
AllianceBernstein co-chief investment officer and Australian Value Equities director of research, Roy Maslen, said Moran came to the team with an "outstanding record of personal achievement".
"[Moran's] appointment is another demonstration of Bernstein's commitment to the Australian market and our Australian Value clients, and of the value opportunity we see in Australian equities. The team has more dedicated resources now than at any stage since the launch of our first portfolio in 2003," Maslen said.
