Former WA Super investment analyst, Andrew Guilfoyle as joined Willis Towers Watson as an investment consultant.
Guilfoyle’s recruitment was confirmed by Willis Towers Watson this week, with the company’s director of investments, Martin Goss saying his long experience in institutional investment would allow him to consult to a diverse range of clients, including superannuation funds, insurance companies, charities and endowments.
“Andrew’s breadth of experience with superannuation funds in particular gives him the insights to tailor our investment strategies to the specific needs of clients,” he said.
Guilfoyle will be based in Melbourne and will primarily be involved with advising institutional clients on strategic asset allocation and manager structure and selection.
Prior to WA Super, Guilfoyle spent seven years at the Government Employees Superannuation Board (GESB) as an investment strategist and was an analyst at BT Financial Group for three years.
The fund has announced three executive-level appointments, including a new chief investment officer.
