Superannuation fund, UniSuper has appointed Julie Stockton as its national manager for employer relationships.
Stockton has spent over 20 years at Macquarie Bank and was most recently division director, head of training and relationship managers, braches and engine room.
Commenting on the appointment, UniSuper executive manager for advice and employer relationships, Jack McCartney, said Stockton was a highly skilled people leader with long-term experience running large client service and relationship management teams nationally.
"With more than 20 years at Macquarie Group, where she was divisional director, Julie is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients and intermediaries. She has proven ability to lead and manage large teams, and has a strong affinity with UniSuper's purpose," he said.
Stockton will being her role on 31 March and said she was looking forward to leading the employer relationships team as preparations for the fund's new default super product launch is underway.
"The organisation has enviably close relationships with its university partners and related bodies and these relationships enable the delivery of first class products and services to its members," Stockton said.
Stockspot is aiming to launch the Australia-first vehicle in the coming months.
Natalie Kelly has been appointed permanently to the role following an extensive selection process.
Wayne Byres is the newest addition to the market operator’s leadership team as part of its ongoing board renewal initiative.
The $7 billion fund has hired a new chief executive to succeed Lachlan Baird, who departed the fund in December last year after 18 years.
