Superpartners appoints new director
Former ANZ chief operating officer David Cartwright has joined the board of Superpartners.
Cartwright has over 30 years financial services experience, most recently at ANZ where he was responsible for overseeing technology, operations, property, sourcing and shared services between 2007 and 2012. He was accountable for 12,000 staff globally.
Cartwright spent 22 years with Barclays in the UK, leading the business through numerous change-over programs before taking up a position with UK cheque processing and clearing house iPSL.
He has also held a number of non-executive positions, including chairman and director of several ANZ subsidiaries in Australia, India, China and the Philippines, chairman of securities cash management and director of iPSL.
"His sound experience is strongly aligned with Superpartners' strategic direction and will no doubt prove highly valuable for our business," Superpartners chairman Patricia Faulkner said.
"David's reputation as a powerful and visible leader who has designed and successfully implemented business transformation programs will add to the already strong expertise of the Superpartners' Board."
