Joining the podcasting trend, Sunsuper has launched a podcast series intended to provide timely and engaging financial information for members, with 2,000 listens thus far on the six episodes recorded to date.
The New School of Super series would feature the fund’s chief economist, Brian Parker, and head of advice and retirement, Anne Fuchs, talking about investments, markets, superannuation, and money in general.
“We know that podcasts are an increasingly popular channel for Australians to consume information and entertainment,” Fuchs said.
Almost one third of Australians had listened to a podcast, with nearly two thirds of those who start listening, listening until the end, and 20 per cent listen at least monthly.
“Given this engagement, we decided to use this growing channel and tap into the wealth of knowledge we have within Sunsuper to help educate and engage with our members,” Fuchs said.
