State Super appoints public sector director
The State Super (SAS Trustee Corporation) board has appointed Stewart Little as a director to represent the interests of the public sector.
State Super chair, Nicholas Johnson, said Little had over 18 years of experience in the public sector and would deliver new skills and insights to the board.
“[Little] understands the workings of government and has excellent relationships with ministerial and department staff, most recently providing leadership to the Public Service Association executive and senior management teams,” Johnson said.
Little was previously senior industrial officer and industrial officer for the Public Service Association of NSW. In 2016 he was elected general secretary and responsible for the industrial representation of over 38,000 public sector employees.
Commenting on his new role, Little said: “State Super has played a significant role over the last 100 years in maximising the benefits for members and providing financial security for public sector employees. I am very honoured to be asked to be a member of this board”.
