The SMSF Association's director of technical and professional standards, Graeme Colley, has resigned.
Colley was in the technical and policy team for four years and also served as a past chairman and director.
The association's chief executive, Andrea Slattery, said "Graeme has been at the forefront of superannuation policy over many years, especially as it relates to SMSFs [self-managed superannuation funds], and the association and its members have been the beneficiaries of this high level of knowledge".
"His contribution to the association and the SMSF sector extended beyond his technical and policy roles of the past four years having served diligently as a past chairman and director," she said.
The fund has announced three executive-level appointments, including a new chief investment officer.
The super fund has tapped a former Vanguard and Plato Investment Management executive to lead its fixed interest team.
The firm has grown its wealth management team with an experienced distribution specialist.
The $36 billion fund has announced the appointment of an experienced public sector executive leader.
