REST Super appoints GM investments

Former Suncorp head of investment operations, Brendan Casey, will take up the position of general manager of investments at REST Super, effective October 31.

A former chemical engineer, Casey has worked for a range of financial services companies since his career shift, including Commonwealth Bank, Citigroup, and Southern Cross Equities.

REST Super chief executive, Damian Hill, said: "Brendan is an exceptionally experiences financial services professional - a great fit for our team".

"[This] role is absolutely critical to helping improve the retirement outcomes of our nearly two million members," Hill said.
