legalsuper has made its tenth member-facing hire in under three years, in what its chief executive, Andrew Proebstl, said was a direct response to member and employer feedback.
Long Nguyen would join the fund in Sydney, coming from REST after more than 13 years in the financial services industry across retail investment banking and industry super.
legalsuper hired its first data analyst specialist at the same time, with Michael Wigney bringing over two decades’ data analyst experience at both international investment and domestic retail banks to the newly-created role.
“Long’s and Michael’s appointments further advance our strategy of investing in member service and engagement to help our members achieve better retirement outcomes,” Proebstl said. “legalsuper now has a total member services team of 20 across Australia, enhancing the depth and breadth of expertise offered to all members and employers.”
