legalsuper has announced it is looking for applications for a chief investment officer (CIO) role.
The CIO will work closely with the fund's investment committee, which includes two investment experts, David St. John and Neville Hathaway.
The CIO will also liaise with legalsuper's asset consultant Towers Watson, and will get assistance from other members of the management team.
"The CIO role will have a particular focus on formulating strategies that further enhance investment performance and also ensure that efficient and proactive management of legalsuper's investment arrangements," legalsuper chief executive Andrew Proebstl said.
The fund has brought on executive search firm Fish and Nankivell Ogilvie Watson to do the search.
The fund's MySuper balance option returned 13.21 per cent last financial year, above the SuperRatings' median of 12.6 per cent.
The fund has announced three executive-level appointments, including a new chief investment officer.
