Former Liberal leader joins Crescent Wealth board
Australian superannuation fund, Crescent Wealth, has strengthened its governance with the appointment of former Liberal Party leader, John Hewson, to its board.
Hewson would join alongside industry veteran, Nicholas Whitlam, and chair, Diane Yerbury, who was the former vice chancellor and president of Macquarie University, and the chief executive of the Australian Council.
Crescent Wealth’s managing director, Talal Yassine, said that the fund nearly amassed $250 million in funds under management, and now had the platform to increase scale at a much faster rate.
In a bid to lift its growth trajectory, the fund has enlisted NAB Asset Servicing as a custodian, Mercer as its super fund administrator and Equity Trustees as its super fund trustee.
