CareSuper outsources its IT
Industry super fund CareSuper has outsourced its entire IT environment to Anittel on a two year contract.
IT firm Anittel will now look after all of CareSuper's servers, storage, networks, operating systems and end user support, upgrade the full operating environment, new telephone systems, video conferencing, wireless solutions, and cloud backups.
"We required a provider with a national presence that could seamlessly and without disruption to staff and members, upgrade our entire IT and communications environment," CareSuper chief executive, Julie Lander, said.
The contract includes managed services and equipment spend, and services over 60 personnel largely based in Melbourne and other offices in Australia.
"We implemented the key changes and turned them around with limited impact to the end user," Anittel regional manager, George Fattouche, said.
Fattouche added that Anittel's focus was to ensure system availability, risk mitigation, and business continuity.
