AMP Capital has announced senior appointments to its global infrastructure debt team in New York and London.
Spencer Ivey will be leaving the Sydney office to join the New York office as associate director. He was fund controller in Sydney for the infrastructure debt team. He will report to infrastructure debt principal Patrick Trears and work with associate director Andrew Liao.
Former manager of AMP Capital’s fund accounting team Greg Gill will be replacing Ivey in Sydney.
In London, Emma Haight joins the team as director from NIBC Bank where she was vice president in the project finance division.
James Fox is also joining the London office as associate director at the end of April. He was previously at British Land in the finance team.
Haight and Fox will report to infrastructure debt principal Richard Lane.
AMP Capital started investing in infrastructure debt since 1998. Its first fund, IDF I, was closed to new investment in 2012 after raising US$503 million from 30 global institutional investors.
AMP Capital announced in January it had closed US$100 million subordinated debt financing for New York city-based Astoria Project Partners.
The fund has announced three executive-level appointments, including a new chief investment officer.
The super fund has tapped a former Vanguard and Plato Investment Management executive to lead its fixed interest team.
