Nikko Asset Management Australia has appointed BlackRock's Robert Bluzmanis as head of wholesale accounts.
Reporting to head of distribution Vincent Lo Blanco, Bluzmanis' role will be to oversee Nikko's relationships with financial institutions.
Lo Blanco said Bluzmanis' investment and asset management knowledge will benefit the firm's clients.
Bluzmanis was previously head of national key accounts, director at BlackRock. He was client business multi manager sales director before that.
He also worked at Colonial First State for six years, holding various positions including business development associate, research analyst of national key accounts and research, and senior business development manager, investments.
Bluzmanis said he is excited to be joining Nikko and looks forward to working with institutional clients.
